Few days back ... on recommendation from some of my friends ...
I downloaded and watched a documentary called 'Home' ...
And I tell you ... it was awesome ... it totally blew my mind ...
Home by Yann Arthus-Bertrand is a beautifully shot panorama ...
Planet Earth and the damage done to it by modern humanity ...
The film has breathtaking aerial footage from 54 countries ...
Showing the pure beauty of our planet with amazing facts ...
Glenn Close narrates the journey with very good original music ...
We are shown the history of Earth how everything came about ...
And how everything is interconnected and balance maintained ...
It shows us how we ... as the dominant species on this planet ...
Has been brutally drilling in to our natural resources ...
Without a thought about sustainability or future consequences ...
It shows how far the ripples of our industrial decisions go ...
It also shows us ... towards the end of the film ...
That there are cities ... regions and nations ... that have ...
Made some forward thinking investments in to the future ...
And how ... we too can be responsible towards our only home ...
I highly recommend this film to anyone and everyone ...
Who has ever had a thought about our planet ... our earth ...
Watch this documentary ... and be blown away ...

it does NOT say that in my version ...
i listened intently to every word from min 22 to 25 ...
no such thing is mentioned ...
guess i got a later copy that has been corrected ... :0
Journey to edge of universe is briliant
still waiting for a DVD of HOME; will wait years if necesary (will watch on my macbook to please subcorpus).
i highly recommend COSMOS: A personal Voyage miniseries as well to anyone here; everyone has got to see this!!!

but the quality is much much better ...
