Long traffic jams has become an everyday sight in Male' ...
Some roads at times are practically parking lots ...
I seriously doubt I'd enjoy being stuck there ...
Especially when everyone starts to horn when in Jams ...
A ride around Male' has now become arduous and unsafe ...
I wonder how many vehicles are there in Male' ...
In the whole 2 square kilometers of Male' ...
A quick look at the transport ministry's website says ...
That there are close to 20,000 registered vehicles ...
Most of them are motorbikes ... of course ...
Which makes one thing really very clear ...
We need a reliable and efficient public transport system ...
We need it ... like yesterday ...
We also need to find out somehow or another ...
Where those young ebullient bikers are flying past to ...

I heard there's a public bus service from MTCC ...
I wonder where they are and what their routes are ... ???
Because i've yet to see a public bus on the road ...

That picture really drives the message home! A traffic jam in a 10ft wide road and that too lined with motobikes. Yikes!

Havent seen one. This is the most peacefull place on earth.
If there were something like that...the govmnt have already fixed it. :P
