Somebody stole my side-view mirrors !!!
Side-view mirrors are mirrors …
Found on the left- and right-hand sides of most modern vehicles …
Though these mirrors do face backwards …
They are meant to show the biker the traffic …
To the left- and right-hand sides of the vehicle.
One of the first important steps …
We learned to take during driver's education was …
To adjust the mirrors so we could see properly …
I take these as suggestions …
And do not strictly follow these rules …
May be i’m reckless …
May be i’m normal …
As almost all the bikers I know and see on the road …
I use side-view mirrors to glance back at persons …
That I don't want to double take to …
Thus, the main function of my side-view mirror is …
To show me pedestrian traffic that I might have passed …
Rather than vehicular traffic trying to over take me …
Also, as everyone else, I use side-view mirrors …
To help me communicate with my passenger sitting behind me …
Especially if the passenger is of the opposite gender …
Now that I've lost my side-view mirror …
I'm contemplating if I should by a pair …
Or just exchange my loss with someone else …
The evil in me is on the verge of winning …
“You may have stolen my mirrors …
but you can never steal my view …
Its just a glance over my shoulders … ”
Objects in the side-view mirror …
May appear closer than they really are …
If any of the person(s) who stole from me is reading this …
I really hope they get my drift …
