A small girl closely admiring the artwork on the wall.
This artwork was probably done as part of decoration for a young boy's circumcision ceremony.
Circumcision ceremonies in Maldives are 3-7 days, houses are heavily decorated using mostly Christmas decorations.
People play music, games and sports and enjoy themselves all day all night long.
Its more of a traditional celebration that a religious ceremony.

A group of fully-clad-in-black women gather at the beach for some time out. I wonder why they wear black in this heat.
Anyways, it nice the see the "faithful" taking some time off and enjoying themselves.
I respect them fully, but I do wonder, why is that some don't shake hands with guys while wearing their gloves? They don't even want to talk to most guys? I have been told that they believe that their voices also need to be protected or something, and they speak only out of necessity to communicate. I don't understand this at all.

A man working to break a slab of reinforced concrete with a sledge hammer.
When broken in to smaller peaces, it is easier and cheaper to load the rubble and haul it off to the yard.
